Hello! I hope that you’re all doing well. Today is not a tutorial or a house update post but a post to let you know why you should come to The Clean and Tidy Home Show!
Last year on the 8th and 9th of October I travelled to London with my Sister to go to The Clean and Tidy Home Show. I had seen some of my favourite cleaning accounts sharing the show over the previous few months and to be honest it sounded just my kind of thing! Lot’s of cleaning and home brands all under one roof, sharing their products, explaining how they work and giving me the opportunity to buy them too.
The other thing that really made me want to go was the fact that it was the perfect way to meet so many other content creators in the home and cleaning community. I have “met” so many lovely people over on Instagram and it gave me the chance to meet them in real life.
I’m not one for going to new places or traveling very far so going to London (even though I was still with my sister) was actually a pretty big deal for me. I was super nervous because I’m just not very good at putting myself out there and introducing myself to people but for the whole weekend it just felt like I was part of this fantastic community. Penny Moyses (the clean and tidy home show founder) has created something amazing! You were welcomed on the door, you were welcomed by the exhibitors and you were welcomed by the Shine Squad too. There were areas you could go to meet and mingle with other visitors and everywhere you looked there was people connecting. People finally meeting friends they had only spoken to online before. People meeting content creators that they follow on instagram. People meeting brands and the people behind those brands. And most importantly people just connecting over their shared love for cleaning and caring for their homes!
Last Year the Shine Squad was made up of some of my favourite cleaning influencers on Instagram. There was Annemarie (cleanigram), Ben (ben6987), Beth (Cleaning with Beth), Jade (clean with Jade), Jennie (hall at home) and Lee (officially cleen) plus so many more. And this year the Shine Squad is even bigger and I’m so proud and excited to be part of the Shine Squad myself!!
The shine Squad are an extension of The Clean and Tidy Home Show Team and we will be there to welcome you over the weekend and also to spread the word about this years show in the hopes that we can make this year an even bigger and more incredible event than last year! The Clean and Tidy Show is at The Excell London this October on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th. You can buy tickets for the individual days or for the full weekend. The Clean and Tidy Home Show has a strict #shinenotshame policy and this means that everyone is welcome! Enjoy an inclusive and non-judgmental community where you can share, celebrate and learn. There will be celebrities, companies and experts within the home cleaning community sharing their hints and tips to help you create a clean and tidy home. There are opportunities to get hands on and try out the latest products from exhibitors and sponsors of the show. And if all of that isn’t enough there’s a goodie bag too!
