Hello! If you watch my YouTube videos you will have heard me talk about my small Hoover vacuum and how much I love it. So when Hoover contacted me to see if I wanted to try any of their other vacuums I said yes please! Which is why I’m here today with this Hoover HF9 Pet Review.

Here she is all ready to be unboxed. I can never get over how small the boxes are that vacuums come in nowadays! All of the packaging was paper and cardboard, completely plastic free which I think is brilliant.
Some of the main features of this model include the suction which is twice as powerful as Shark’s best-selling cordless vacuum. It’s light weight to use and easy to store. It has a 30 minute battery run time and anti hair wrap technology. The vacuum comes with a 5 year warranty too which when you’re buying expensive appliances gives you peace of mind.
The Hoover HF9 Pet model has a sleek appearance, is small enough to fit in a cupboard and it comes with a wall mount too. Once I had put it together (which was a very simple process) I was excited to give it a run around the living room.
You can really feel the suction power! you could see that it was moving the pile of the carpet and really getting it clean. I love the headlights, they are super handy when vacuuming in dark corners and under furniture. The dust canister is a really good size which I love as you can vacuum for longer without having to empty it. It was of course easy to manoeuvre and I love that the head is cushioned as I’m ruthless with the vacuum and always banging into things. Hopefully this will help my paintwork last a little longer 😀
The buttons are super simple, there’s the on button, turbo button and then the mode button that changes it from hard floor to carpets. You can easily see here that its on hard floor mode and just one press changes it for you. My absolute favourite feature of this vacuum though is that it tells you how much run time you have left! There is nothing worse than your battery dying half way through a room so I love knowing how long I’ve got left.
My smaller Hoover had the anti hair wrap brush head and I’m so glad that this one does too. It’s such a game changer not having to snip all of my hair off the brush bar because I have a lot of hair 😀 I’ve been using the HF9 Pet Model for over a week now and honestly I think it’s brilliant. If you are looking for a powerful vacuum but still want the convince of a cordless then I think that this is the vacuum for you.
