Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. In today’s post I want to share with you some of my Cottagecore Kitchen Amazon Finds. I’m absolutely obsessed with cottage core and modern rustic design right now. Cottagecore is an aesthetic inspired by the romanticism of western agricultural life. Think farm house homes with lots of shelves and knick knacks but in a more modern streamlined way.
Cottagecore and modern rustic design has very much inspired my kitchen makeover which you can find on Instagram and will be uploaded to the blog soon. There are still a lot of styling bits that I want to add to the kitchen over time, such as items for the shelves, baskets, chopping boards etc to give it that cosy cottage feeling with a modern twist.
I’ve been having a look through Amazon to see what I could find and decided to list all my favourites here in a blog post for you. Before I share those here are a couple of my favourite modern cottagecore kitchens from the gram.
I just really love the mix of sleek modern kitchen design mixed with shelves full of knick knacks, wooden tones and warm colours. So here are my cottagecore kitchen amazon finds…..
Vases
CREAM JUG VASE / SET OF TWO VASES / BUD VASES
Vases are perfect for putting up on shelves or for styling counters. You can fill them with faux stems or cuttings from the garden to change the look through the seasons. The bud vases in particular would look great grouped together on a shelf with seasonal cuttings in them.
Baskets
3 STACKABLE BASKETS / BASKETS WITH HANDLE / TRAY BASKETS
Baskets make great on show storage soloutions in a kitchen. Keep them on the island for fruit, up on a shelve to store less aesthetically pleasing items and they are also great for grouping things together and making them easier to transport. For example you could have a basket with napkins and utensils in that’s easy to grab and carry over to the table for meal times.
Bottles and Jars

Decanting every day things into jars and bottles can make them look much more aesthetically pleasing. I’m not going to put a pasta bag on my open shelving but pour it into a nice jar and suddenly it’s decor! Cleaning sprays and soaps can also be displayed in nice amber glass jars for that cosy cottagecore feel.
Wooden tones
WOODEN TRAY / WOODEN PEDESTAL / WOODEN UTENSILS / WOODEN TRAYS / LONG WOODEN SERVING BOARD / WOODEN SHELVES / SHORT WOODEN SERVING BOARD
Wooden serving or chopping boards look great leant up against the walls and I use this trick a lot to hide sockets that I don’t want on show. Trays again are great for grouping things together, I keep my kitchen island decor on a tray so it’s easily moved if I need more counter space. Smaller trays are also great for soap and cleaning products near the sink or oil and vinegar jars near the hob. Pedestals and counter top shelves are also fantastic for this purpose. Wooden utensils look fab in a utensil pot of some kind on a counter.
