The best Easter treats with Ninja Creami

I don’t know about you but every year after Easter we are left with an abundance of Easter treats and Chocolate. The Easter bunny always over does it and spoils the kids and then Shaun can never resist popping to the shops in the week after just to see what they have left that might be reduced! If you are in the same position and are thinking “what on earth am I going to do with all of this chocolate?” then might I suggest some Easter ice creams! Which is why we are going to be making the best Easter treats with Ninja Creami.

After the last few days playing around with the Ninja Creami and trying out a few different recipes I’ve pretty much decided that it’s the queen of all kitchen appliances. It’s designed to create a wide range of frozen treats with ease. The Creamify technology transforms frozen ingredients into smooth, creamy ice cream, sorbets, gelato, milkshakes, smoothie bowls, and more. The possibilities are endless to be honest, and if you’re stuck for inspiration, just have a search over on TikTok or Instagram and I’m sure you will end up with a list of saved recipes almost as long as mine!

Today though I want to specifically share two recipes to use up some of those leftover Easter treats. One is pretty simple with a chocolate base that you can pair with any chocolate leftovers but the second one might surprise you! I wasn’t entirely sure how it would turn out. It was a bit of a gamble but honestly, I preferred it to the chocolate flavour and so did Shaun. It was……..Hot cross bun flavour!!

I know, I know, you don’t trust me that it will be delicious but if you’re brave enough to give it a try then please leave me a comment below or you could even contact me over on my socials. I’m on Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. The recipe for the Hot cross bun ice cream is a vanilla base. I then toasted a hot cross bun cut it into cubes and added it to the ice cream using the mix in function on the Ninja Creami. The bun does break down and mix evenly through the ice cream so the hot cross bun flavour really is there in every bite. I’ve always loved cake and ice cream together and this has that same kind of texture. What would you use to make the best Easter treats with Ninja Creami?

Mason and Noa both loved being in the kitchen to help make these tasty treats. They always love the opportunity for us to create something together in the kitchen and it was a fun school holiday activity for us to mix them up together. And they of course loved the tasting part too!

The Ninja Creami isn’t just for Easter though and I’m looking forward to trying many more recipes. I’m especially interested in making some healthier ice cream alternatives or maybe some higher protein ice creams. I can imagine we will also be using it all summer long for iced drinks too. I do love a frappe and the kids will be crying out for me to make slush. The Ninja Creami comes with a booklet full of recipes to get you started for each of the functions available too. So don’t worry about getting it out of the box and not really knowing where to start. The Ninja Creami along with the full Ninja range is available to purchase from Very.co.uk
